Double page spread article.
After 3 hours on set Grayce still looks as radiant as ever…
Today we put Grayce in two main looks, the simplistic one shirt & black
dress and the edgy leather jacket with black jeans! Now it’s time to meet the
star herself so we can ask a few questions and she can tell us how she did it.
Where did it all begin?
When I was about 7 years old my mum took me to a local talent
performance to watch all the contestants & it just inspired me so much to
try something like that so that’s what I did! I had always enjoyed music and
from my earliest memory I was always being encouraged to make the most of the
talent I had. One day I decided I just needed to go for it and give singing in
front of a live audience a go! I lined up a gig in my local pub, just something
small to start me off and it couldn’t have gone better, I got a standing
ovation and was hired permanently as a weekly act. I had lived in central
London all my life which hosted many opportunities for me and one day I decided
if I really wanted to get into the music industry I’d have to be noticed so I
decided to record a few tracks to send to anyone who would listen! That’s when
it happened… I got the call from Cassie (my very own agent), she set me up with
various record labels so I could show them what I had to offer and then it was
down to me to decide from the 3 who wanted me. 2 years on I wouldn’t change a
thing, singing is my passion & there isn’t a day that goes by when I’m not
doing it.
That sounds amazing! So what does a day in the life of Grayce
consist of?
My schedule is hectic recently! I start the day with a
breakfast which is usually a bowl of cereal or eggs on toast because it’s
really helpful with waking me up and getting me ready for the day. I then have
a shower, get ready and do my makeup then I begin my day. My day can consist of
anything from gigs to photo shoots to radio interviews to charity events but
there is never a dull moment.
Who is your inspiration?
My music inspiration is Whitney Houston because her voice is
so powerful & she is still well known for her amazing career today. Another
inspiration of mine is my mum because she has never stopped encouraging me to
follow my dreams and she has the most beautiful voice.
Have you got any exciting news or things coming up?
Yes I will be releasing a new album soon which I can’t wait
for you all to hear because I’ve spent so much time and hard work in the studio
producing this with a few other artists. I also have a sell-out world tour
which begins in June and I’ll be going to China where I’ve never been before
and I can’t wait!

Discussion of software learning development.
Throughout the process of making my school magazine & the research and planning of my music magazine, I have developed many new skills which I hope will help to create a better, improved music magazine. I used Photoshop as my main software where I edited and put together my school magazine and for the creation of my music magazine I plan to use the same. Some of the tools that I have come to understand well is the magic wand tool which can be used to cut out an image, for example when cutting an image off a background you can delete the background with the magic wand tool. The layers help separate each item and you can turn each layer off by clicking the eye as well as text box which you can edit the colour, font and style. Throughout the process of making my music magazine I will still be learning many new things about the software but my knowledge has developed since creating my first magazine.

Equipment Chosen.
When doing my photoshoot I set two lights up facing my model directly so I could take clear images of my models. I used a Canon 600D to take my images so I could get the clearest images possible and so they look professional to my readers.
